My students need more flexible seating options. My students love to find a comfortable spot to sit and do their work. They are more attentive with choice. However, I only have one wobble chair and thought they are good about taking turns, I would love to be able to give more students that type of seating option.
My Students:
Our classroom community is very diverse. Students come from many cultures and speak many languages. 98% of the students at our school live in poverty and are ELL students. These students are resilient and come to school every day. My hope is to help them fulfill their dreams for bright futures by providing giving them choice in their learning and seating style.
My project:
My students need comfortable seating and seating that allows some movement and balance. This will help them with concentration and get some of the wiggles out.
