My school is made up of mainly low-income, broken up families. They struggle with making ends meet to provide for the essentials. A lot of these families move in and out of our school, due to not being able to pay for rent. Most of the families only have a mom or only a dad. There are even some families that have both parents gone and the grandparents raising them. These students crave the love and attention our teachers are quick to give. Our school staff bonds together to try and provide not only a high quality education, but also the essentials these students need to feel safe and secure.
