The third grade students who step into my classroom on day one of next year will bring a very different set of needs than those they had as first graders.
A classroom of flexible work spaces with stability balls, stools, dish chairs and special desks will allow my students to learn in the way that best suits them individually, while providing the opportunity for movement and cooperative problem solving. These spaces are crucial in a classroom that values the experience of a problem based approach.
My goal is to create a space that allows them to both explore their curiosities and hone their burgeoning gifts. Help us achieve a classroom space that promotes active learning and ingenuity!
