These materials will allow my students to engage in hands-on learning through social play-based exploration. Students will be able to learn and explore their world through play. Your generosity will help us update materials to allow for more exploration and better learning.
I'm requesting a Classroom CD/Cassette Player with Bluetooth and Lakeshore Storytelling kits for interactive read alouds. These can help build comprehension as students become more engaged in the story and then retell the story. I assist them with asking and answering questions about the story.
The Lakeshore washable dolls, for our dramatic play center, will help students work on social skills and practice daily living skills. Having these dolls in our classroom will also help support students social-emotional skills.
The students will be amazed when exploring the Easy-View Classroom Aquarium for our science life center. They'll have an up close view to observe living things as they learn about taking care of the environment and taking care of living things. Other requested hands-on materials include Kinetic Sensory Sand, Sensory Dough, and Magic Water Marbles.
The new All-Purpose Classroom Storage Tray Center, to organize math and fine motor materials, will help students with making choices and cleaning up materials. The Soft Seats will be used throughout the classroom for comfortable seating.
We want our students to have lifetime love for learning. Through play, our students will be provided with opportunities to increase daily living skills, build social skills, and improve their pre-academic skills for a stronger foundation in math and literacy!
