When coming back to in-person school, our students are thrilled to see one another and be back in the classroom. They want to play together, but, in order to be sure that everyone is safe, they can't share materials, and they need to keep a safe distance.
The materials in this project will allow our entire in-person first grade to express their creativity, expend energy, and do the most important work of childhood: play! Each student will receive their own set of recess materials for indoor and outdoor recess time. Their materials will be easy to store in drawstring bags, so they will never need to worry about misplacing anything. These bags are easy to store in the classroom and will be labeled with each student's name.
