The materials provided would help the students and their families not have to struggle to find what they need for school. The white boards and erasers (microfiber cloths) would make it easy for students to do work and show me via zoom meetings and also in the classroom. The classroom decor would make it more exciting to see their teacher when they are home and I am either at my home office or school teaching, as well as familiarity and structure when they come back to school, which many of them need.
These materials will help my special education students be able to learn from home or at school. Many of the students are low income and don't have enough to eat or don't get little incentive snacks. I always have a stock of snacks for students who are hungry and want to sit in a comfy chair at school. Many of these items can be sent home and brought back to school when they return, but they will have them when needed.
