Having a classroom library and comfy chairs will provide my students with a place to relax and enjoy reading. The majority of my students come from low income communities and most likely do not have access to books outside of the classroom. As a school, we are working diligently to increase literacy scores among our students and what better way to do that then by making the resources available and fun.
This is my second year teaching and I have a very limited amount of books for my students so this will allow me to provide my students with everything they need and deserve.
