The materials and supplies that I am requesting for my students is furniture and some basic tools that they will need to have a positive experience in their upcoming year.
The large carpets will be used as follow, one in front of the classroom for mini-lessons, the second carpet will be used in the back of the room for reading aloud. The smaller carpet will be placed in the library I am setting up for the students. The book bins will be used to have an organized system for the students to take their choice off books that they will be taking home weekly to read with their families. The mailboxes will be used to communicate with the parent.
The bookshelf will be used to display the books of the month. These books will motivate and encourage the students to read new material each month. Finally, the computer stand will be used during the mini-lessons, the stand will allow me to have a place for the keyboard and facilitate for smooth lessons during the mini-lessons.
The donations to this project will help me create a warm and welcoming classroom for the students. The furniture needed in the classroom will allow me to create the appropriate spaces for the students to read, listen to the mini-lessons, hold discussions and be excited about their learning.
Thank you for your time and consideration on this project.
