In an inner-city Title-I school, I teach a culturally diverse group of 9th - 12th graders six levels of computer science and robotics. In my lab, learners from China and India work side-by-side with learners from all over West Texas. Regardless of their socioeconomic status or cultural background, these students work together as colleagues, peer tutors, and competitors to help build one of the strongest high school computer science programs in our region.
