My elementary is working towards our goal of becoming a one-to-one school. This means we would like each student to have their own Chromebook to use throughout the school day. The device they would receive would follow them throughout their elementary journey, until moving on to middle school. Not only would having their own Chromebook enhance their daily learning, but it would also teach personal responsibility. The students would check out their Chromebooks at the beginning of each school year and would be responsible for it throughout the year. This personal accountability will ensure that our students learn how to properly care for technology and also Internet safety. Their Chromebooks would be tied to their school email accounts for school accountability. The donations for this project will help one classroom advance towards their goal of one-to-one status.
