Students who participate in our library's book club get exposure to a variety of titles, genres, and authors. Our fall 2021 semester will highlight spooky middle-grade author Lindsay Currie. We hope to read two of her acclaimed novels and analyze how settings, tone, mood, and characterization impact a story's message and theme. These fun and easy-to-read novels are a perfect stepping stone for my students who struggle with chapter books, but love a great scary story! Help us get into the reading spirit by helping fund our project!
