VGE Owls are an amazing group of economically disadvantaged students.
With this population, these students are unfortunately at-risk to high crime, poverty, homelessness, unemployment, poor health, poor fitness and poor nutrition, patiently waiting for them outside of the school gates. They learn at all different rates and in all different ways.
The students enjoy opportunities to interact with technology during different parts of the day. They love to learn new things, and they work hard. School is a place in which they come to learn, feel safe, and interact with their peers.
