The students in my class do not have access to many materials in their home. I want to begin providing sensory and hands-on materials in the classroom. I want to provide the students with learning that promotes developmental skills in an appropriate manner. The sensory items will build Math and Science concepts while promoting Language and Literacy experiences.
Opportunities to use hands-on materials offer the students open ended experiences through the manipulation of these materials. The students will be engaged on multiple levels to give them a deeper understanding of the concepts. My children will be the future leaders, so let's give them all they need to succeed.
