Students will explore this beautiful and fun medium. Students will get an in depth history of ceramics and techniques. They will learn hand building techniques and even work with a potters wheel. They will learn the different processes and stages of clay before building. My students will create, bowls, cups, vases, lamps and sculptures they are inspired to create. Students will glaze their pieces as well and experience the different painting medium. The sky is the limit! Since we are a STEAM school, now that we have the art component, this is the perfect medium that encompasses all STEAM strands.
