I teach second grade at Valhalla Elementary. Our school is a Title School. We are a Multicultural school. The diversity in our classroom is highly respected and recognized. Coming from a Korean-American background myself, teaching English as a Second Language for 7 years and working with International Students from across the world, I bring to the room a world of different lenses. I appreciate my students the culture they bring to the room. Each and every day is a learning experience for at least one of us. My students have shown what it means to be accepting, willing and able to learn and teach others no-matter what background they come from. My rewards come from them as I watch them learn and grow each day , month and year.
