Our class motto is: Relentlessly Pursuing Excellence! Though we are a music class, we use music as a means to develop life skills like thinking and responsibility. We work as a team to create and enjoy high quality music.
Our school serves a high-poverty, at-risk student population in an urban setting. With roughly 80% of our students on the Free & Reduced Lunch program, many students struggle to pay for instrument rental or supplies. That said, the students in the music program go beyond the excuses to find ways to reach their potential. They overcome diversity and adversity while supporting each other in achieving success.
Thanks for viewing and supporting our music program at Lincoln High School!
