My students are from rural Tennessee. The students come from a variety of backgrounds. Some live in poverty while others live in homes where both parents have college degrees. The school has Pre-K through third grade students. My class is comprised of 11 boys and 11 girls! My students love hands on activities and peer to peer interaction! They are learning the foundations of reading and writing that they will carry with them their entire lives!
