My students live in a historic town well know for its western flavor. Students come from all over the valley here, Whetstone, Huachuca City, Bisbee, Sierra Vista, And Benson to name a few surrounding towns. This is a Title I school meaning we have an above average number of students at poverty level. The school building is fairly new but supplies are limited in the Art room. I have come into this position with many needs for the art room. In order to get it up to par I need to resort to outside funding for now to get my supplies up to par for my kids. They deserve a quality art department to learn and grow and express themselves. I plan on making that happen a little bit at a time.
