Having an animal alphabet carpet will add comfort to story time in the library. Students will not have to sit on the cold, hard tile, or be spread out by carpet tiles that take up extra space. The real life pictures of the animals will get students even more excited for story time; our students absolutely love to read non-fiction animal books! Not only would the animal alphabet carpet add comfort to story time, it will provide structure. Having 24 pictures on the carpet means that each child will be able to quickly pick 1 picture square to sit on, with that square being their designated personal space. It will also allow us to have more story time, without having to take up so much time to take out and put away carpet squares.
