I am a proud, dedicated and passionate teacher in a self contained kindergarten (k-2) classroom for students with severe to mild autism. I am in love with my job, my school and the amazing students I am able to work with everyday. All of the students in my classroom are 5-6 years old and are diagnosed with autism, yet they are placed very differently "on the spectrum." I am blessed with the opportunity to spend my time teaching and learning how to meet the variaety of needs that appear In my classroom. I have 2 nonverbal students, 2 students with limited verbal language and 2 l verbal children who have profound language and communication difficulties. These children are the most amazing, loving and bright children, and I am determined to find ways to meet all their individual needs !
