These books will make a great difference in my students lives because it will expose them to the many books out there that have to do with Art that they probably will never have a chance to read. I make an emphasis on reading in my Art class. I try to incorporate a book any chance I get and display it along with the children's art work. I give them many opportunities to read when they have free time. To hear kids say I read that in Art brings joy to my ears!! Many of these books will teach my students about artists like Van Gogh, Frida Kahlo, and Pablo Picasso. It will show them that being creative is a great thing and that there are so many books out there that encourage that. My students are low income students so I try to expose them to everything and anything that I possibly can. With these books my students will know there are people out there that care and are willing to donate to a good cause for them.
