In my Health class the students are learning about diseases, diabetes, the respiratory system, suicide prevention and the anatomical parts of the male and female reproductive system. These students are creative, curious and are hungry to learn. I want to connect with the individual students that may need hands on instruction. This anatomical model will let my diverse group of students explore and learn how the different systems work.
Lewiston, Maine is a low income city. Many of my students live in a below poverty environment. I do not want that to affect their learning, I want to inculcate every part of their educational journey to be the best they can be.
