Our students complete hands-on activities that prepare them for independent living and competitive employment. In an effort to provide both work experience and cooking skills, we have developed a "bakery" with ready-to-bake items. These pies and cookie dough are provided "at cost" to families and community supporters. There has been great interest in supporting our students, but we must limit supplies based on freezer space. By supporting this project, we will be able to increase supplies to meet demand, while providing instruction in food safety/storage, measurement, and basic work skills.
