My students truly enjoy math class. When we use whiteboards and erasable markers to solve problems, the students are more engaged in the activity. The trouble is, that we are always running out of whiteboard markers! My students would love to use the write and wipe boards and markers during our graphing unit and our geometry unit. We currently do not have whiteboards that have number lines, or an array on them, so these would be a great addition to my classroom.
My students love playing games! I always try to find an opportunity to turn math concepts into games using whatever materials I have in my room. We practice facts using decks of cards, but my cards are ripped and tattered. It would be nice to have a new set for the class. The folder games will be a great addition to my room. They incorporate the concepts I am teaching in class and they will be a wonderful station in my classroom.
Your donations will make a vast improvement in my classroom. My students will be so excited to have games to play that help them utilize the skills they are learning in class. These items will help make difficult math concepts fun for my students!
