My first grade students are curious little children who love to explore, create, question, and play. I work at a high poverty, Title I school, where over 14 different languages other than English have been identified as the primary language spoken at home. Although my students come from such diverse cultures and home lives they all have the same need to make friends, learn while at school, and have a fun time in the classroom learning with their friends.
