My students come from an area in rural New Mexico where the poverty level is high. Resources for families are limited and many struggle just to get by. Our school provides a stable and caring environment where students feel safe. Many of my students are English Language Learners and their native language is Spanish. My students have a ton of energy and are very excited to be in school. Their smiles are contagious! The students love being creative and trying out new things.
