This project will help welcome our 5th graders with math games to spark their curiosity and supplies to help make this space theirs.
We will all be new together as we start this school, so it is important that we have fun, engaging ways to get to know each other. The project will fund a wide array of markers and pastels, construction paper, and glue sticks. Students will be able to put these supplies to use on their first math project.
The project will also fund an estimation jar and the games Prime Climb, 24, and Tiny Polka Dot, which are all great games to build number sense and fluency in a fun way.
Lastly, this project will include a few basic classroom essentials, such as tissues and wire bins to get us started.
