As so many of you know, teachers spend a lot of money out of our own pockets for our students. The items we are requesting for this project are just the basics in our classroom.
A big need in our classroom is of course copy paper to enable us print or copy assignments or student Individual Education Programs (IEPs). We always need black and white, as well as color printer ink to create learning games, print assignments, as well as to actually learn to identify colors (which tends to get hard when everything is black and white!). We are also requesting Expo markers to write on our whiteboards during math, reading or writing. And finally, primary writing journals to learn how to express ourselves using words as well as in drawings.
