Hello, I am fourth-year teacher, excited for the 2019-2020 academic school year! This year, will be my fourth year teaching at Taylor Leadership Academy in the Stockton Unified School District. Taylor Leadership Academy is located in south Stockton and serves a diverse ethnic population which includes: Hispanic or Latino, Black or African American, Asian, Filipino, American Indian, and Black or African American. Of the students enrolled, 92% qualify for free or reduced meals and 36% are classified English Learners (Ed-Data, 2013-2014). As a result, my students will need specific instruction to meet their needs in hopes to close the achievement gap and prepare students for success both in the classroom and in the real world. I'd like to thank you in advance for any support given to fund my projects!
