I teach Kindergarten in a small NH town. I have spent my entire career here. (28 years). My classroom is built on the developmental needs and high expectations of my students.
My main goal is to teach the whole child. This includes helping them develop a love of learning that they will carry with them throughout their lives. I firmly believe I am in the business of educating future citizens who need to be more than just readers and wrIters. Together we work hard on emotional, social, and academic skills. I strive to create a calm, comfy, and welcoming classroom where learning is sometimes tough but always fun. Where we try our best and never give up. Together we go through fun and tough times with smiles on our faces and sometimes tears. They are very sweet children who love to learn and try their best every day. The looks of excitement, wonder, and accomplishment on their faces is why I became a teacher. Thank you.
