My students are curious six and seven year olds. They are in need of intense phonics to become fluent readers. They come from very low income families and 90% of my students receive free lunch. Many of them do not have parents that speak English in order to help them with reading at home. They love technology and it grabs their attention immediately. They enjoy exploring and learning at the same time.
