My school is a Title I school. We are slowly getting technological resources, but we don't have enough financial resources to allow all the teachers to have at least 6 IPads in their rooms for the kids to use at all times during the day. I just recently went to a technology training where a teacher allowed her students to blog and have a classroom twitter account for parents to respond or follow. Getting the kids to write is sometimes challenging, but knowing someone might be reading and responding to their writing could be exciting for them which might encourage them to write more. I even want to partner with other schools or children's hospitals to possibly start a pen pal program, so the kids learn or just communicate with other kids from different diversities. It's really amazing all the things technology can do for education.
