My students are active and lively. They love to dance and move. They work best around the classroom and in cooperative groups. At this time, there are 17 boys and 9 girls. A typical day is a whirlwind of activity as I strive to keep them active yet productive and focused. The students are seated in groups of 6-7 students a table approximately 36 inches tall. The chairs must be tall enough so they can comfortably access the top of the table. This creates another problem because their feet dangle from the chairs or they do not sit properly in the chair to become more comfortable. Students often swing their legs back and forth, kicking other students or banging their feet into the table legs.
