My Title 1 school services a diverse group of students who face many hardships daily. Most students, and parents alike, come from homes where English is a second language. Because of this, school tends to be the only place where diverse literature is available. Despite what many may see as setbacks, my students are enthusiastic and motivated to face challenges head on. In turn, they motivate me to find ways to enrich their education to help them reach their full potential.
