The items requested like Life Skill DVD Series, Connections in the Workplace Introductory Kit, Real World Social Skills will be used on a daily basis with students who are learning how to survive independently in their community. Many people take for granted their ability to order through the drive-thru, go grocery shopping, etc. My students need explicit instruction (and lots of practice) on how to perform these "simple" tasks.
