Think back to your childhood. Did you ever play the game Telephone? This is a game where you and your group sit in a circle, one whispers a phrase to the person beside them, and the whispers continue until they make it back around to the first person. Then, that person usually laughs at how different the phrase became as the story was passed around.
This is what I imagine my kinder students' distance learning experience is like.
Through the multiple people connected at the same time online, poor connections, day-to-day interactions, and other languages being spoken in the home, I can't guarantee that my students clearly hear everything we do together. What they hear, directly affects what they learn and do.
Individual headphones and auditory phones will assist my students with lessening the distractions around them and increase their engagement. And the rolling cart will help me stay organized as we grow virtually through Distance Learning this year.
