More than three‑quarters of students from low‑income households
Data about students' economic need comes from the National Center for Education Statistics, via our partners at MDR Education.
As a school, we have access to books, but unfortunately the topics my students are most enthusiastic about, the books aren't on their level.
In First grade, the students are still trying to crack the code of reading: putting letters and patterns into words and sentences. With these books, they will be fully engaged into their favorite topics. Along with their book series, the comfortable seating is a nice change for them from chair or floor seating. Instead of sitting on the floor around the room, my students can engage in their books on the couch or individual chair.
With these materials, my students are going to love literacy and reading more than ever!
