This whale watching cruise will provide my students with an opportunity to view whales, dolphin, sea lions, and many other marine animals from the safety of a large whale watching ship. An American Cetacean Society Naturalist will provide onboard narration, education, and provide post cruise activities to enrich the whale watching field trip experience for my students. This whale watching cruise will not only focus on viewing large whales & dolphins, but will cover the complete marine ecosystem, which offers a unique learning environment that most of my students will be exposed to for the very first time. In the classroom I strive to share my love of marine life with my students with the hope of spreading awareness of cetaceans and instill a feeling of stewardship of the ocean and its marine life.

About my class
