My class is filled with second graders who are eager to learn!
They are very curious and love to do hands-on activities to gain a deeper understanding of the content they are learning.
This year our Magnet Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) are 15. Life on Land, 10. Reduced Inequalities, and 9. Industry, Innovation, & Infrastructure.
These goals have inspired me to create an atmosphere that incorporates these SDGs, so they are interacting with components from each daily.
First, a propagation station for them to tend to and care for plants in the classroom that they will be able to take home and keep. The second is a social justice project to support people within our community. Third, a creation station for them to show their problem-solving skills through creativity and innovation.
