My students come from socially and economically low income families. They face many challenges outside of school, so while they are outside of school, my challenge is teaching them not only social skills, but academic skills to help them continue to be successful.
My students are kind, sweet boys and girls They are very eager to please. They thrive on any academic achievement, as do I. Most of them don't have a device at home. They are using their parents cell phones. So you can imagine how difficult it is for them to access the curriculum.
