My students come from homes that cannot afford to send supplies to school for their students. I supply them with coffee, tea or cocoa because many of them can't focus in school without it. I also supply them with snacks, school supplies, and more
These students learn strategies to stay focused, begin tasks and complete work in mainstream classes. They learn to manage reactions and deal with difficult social situations. Without the proper medications, diets, food and clothes, they are unable to keep up with academic classes.
The Keurig and supplies will support their hard work and allow them to focus.
