My special education students work so hard to keep up with their peers. They love technology and can't get enough of it. But many have limited access to technology at home. They don't have computers even though they are really good at using them. They get to use computers and interactive white boards at school and this is without a doubt their favorite way to learn. It keeps them engaged and focused, and I see better retention of skills that I have taught. My students are able to work together, strive to be better, and laugh out loud as they learn every day.
