Energetic, curious and enthusiastic one day; cool, calm and collected the next. This is the life of my 8th graders and I wouldn't have it any other way! Throughout the year they will read, read, read, discuss, collaborate and write, write, write. They come from various backgrounds, ethnicities and social economic conditions. By the end of the year they become a tight-knit group, some will even call themselves a "family". These students learn together, grow together and epitomize the meaning of our country's motto: "E Pluribus Unum"- out of many, we are one.
