I have 21 students in my classroom this year. We are a school of mainly white students. Over the past few years, our ELL population has grown. I am trying to incorporate other cultures into my classroom. Students will need to identify their own culture and background to create an All About Me presentation. As the year progresses, they will research various other countries dealing with how children are the same and different in their daily lives at both home and school. They will end with a presentation comparing and contrasting cultural differences between themselves and others around the world. They will share their knowledge in a format that suits their learning style such as Popplet, Prezi or Bookemon.
About my class
