My project includes items such as Kindle Fire 7 Kids Edition Tablets where they will have access to over 15,000 books, memory expanding chips to download more books, stress balls and anxiety easing tactile items, and resources to assist with reading benchmarks.
This generation of students speak the language of technology. The items for my project will clearly enhance the learning environment of my classroom by including the technological component. While there is still an appreciation for a tangible book, many students enjoy reading off of a tablet and even including an audio component.
