I love to search far and wide to bring new adventures to my students. In the past I would print my colored pages at home and bring them to school, but sadly my colored printer has quit working. It may sound silly to say but my printer was a window to the outside world. Some of my students never get the chance to explore life outside of our small town. My color printer brought new places to students who never knew they existed. For example, my class was studying butterfly life cycles last month. When I had my printer, I was able to print real pictures of butterfly eggs and the milk leaf where the eggs can be found. It inspired my students after school to search for butterfly eggs. They could do this because they knew exactly what they were looking for.
