My students are bright, caring 6th, 7th, and 8th graders at a sustainability-focused Title 1 school in West Baltimore. Over 90% of our students are eligible for the free-lunch program. Teachers and administrators are constantly using their creative thinking skills in order to stretch every last penny of our budget and give our students the education they deserve.
Last year, my class averaged over 1.5 years growth per student in reading comprehension, and over 2 years growth in reading phonics. My students are readers, writers, thinkers, and explorers. Their imaginations are limitless resources of joy. I have established this Ðǿմ«Ã½ page in order make sure that the intangible mental resources that my students bring into the classroom are never hindered by the reality of material resources.
