The use of whiteboards is a daily essential in my classroom. Students utilize whiteboards to present "points of confusion" in an effort to allow their peers to utilize Socratic dialogue as a means to support them on their path of understanding. I can't tell you how many whiteboard markers and surface cleaners we have gone through to try to keep the boards usable. The whiteboards allow students to show and share their work. Additionally, the software that comes with it allows the students to save their work without having to "copy it" into their notes another time.
By utilizing an interactive whiteboard, students will be able to maximize their learning while increasing their knowledge in the field of technology!
