Students engage in literacy centers every single day. They have been loving the activities we do, but I think it is time to introduce something new!
As children are being read to, they learn new vocabulary, they recognize their sight words, they learn to enjoy reading, and so much more!
My students absolutely love listening to stories, looking at the details in the pictures, and predicting what is going to happen next. Currently, in kindergarten, we are working on being able to follow along with our finger while reading a story; listening to the book will allow students to focus on following along and comprehending what is being read.
