My students attend a public charter school. Most students receive a free/reduce lunch. Their families are very dedicated to giving them the best education possible. Because our staff is also dedicated to the same vision, we strive to provide them with the best education possible. The first grade scholars I have the honor to work with are eager readers. They are curious about their world and love to read. My students enjoy making connections to stories and sharing them with others. They spread out across our classroom to read and say it is their favorite part of their day!
